Would you like to know God personally? The following four biblical truths will help you discover how:
_Good News: God Loves You!God loves you and He created you to know Him personally. You are precious in His sight.
The Bible says, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:16-17) Why don’t most people experience God’s love and peace in their lives? Bad News: All humans are sinful! Everyone has sinned & our iniquities have made a separation between us and God (Isaiah 59:1- 2).
The Bible says, For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God . . . For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.(Romans 3:23; 6:23) How can sin be removed and the free gift of God received? Great News: Jesus died for our sins! Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the death penalty for our sins and rose again from the dead to offer us forgiveness and eternal life.
The Bible says, But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power. (Acts 2:24) He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed . . . For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God. (1 Peter 2:24; 3:18) How can a person be restored in a loving, forgiven relationship with God? |
