We are a community of Christ-followers who believe that every person matters to God and you matter to us too. Love God, Love People, Preach the Truth

That simple slogan is our passion and focus as we seek to fulfill our Lord's Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and His Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40). Those passages form the biblical foundation of our purpose statement:

Trusting God, we will love people by modeling His love, ministering His love and multiplying His love in reproducing Christ-like disciples!

We want to share the love of Christ with our local community as well as the world-which includes you, our website guest. If you would like more information or have a question about how to develop a dynamic personal relationship with Jesus Christ, please let us know.

Paul captured our desire when he wrote in Colossians 1:27-29, "Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ. For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me."

On Sunday, August 15 at 1 p.m.,
please join us for an all-church BBQ.
The menu will include hamburgers or
hot dogs, baked beans, chips
and ice cream sandwiches
as well as lemonade, water or coffee.
The cost will be $4 per person or
$20 for a family of five or more.

SAVE THE DATE
On Wednesday, August 18, Dana Weaver
will be taking the third through sixth graders
to Orchard Bay to swim. Afterward,
they will go to her house for a taco dinner.
The cost is $3. Drop off your kids
at her house at 3 p.m.
and pick them up at 8 p.m.

This year's Women's Retreat will be
at the Miracle Hot Springs in Desert Hot Springs,
September 17-19, 2010.
Costs vary from $135-$200 depending
on room assignments and payment dates.

Nutrition Class
Come join us as we support healthy lifestyles
through fellowship with one another. We
meet on Wednesday mornings
from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Terri Rubio leads this group.

Support 4R Deployed Military, Inc.
There is a list of needed items and
a box in the foyer for contributions.

Both Ladies' Bible Study Groups

The Men's Fellowship Group
Man-to-Man, meets every
week for prayer and discussion from
7:30-8:45 a.m. at COTW. We are
currently discussing the book, Wild at Heart.
The monthly fellowship breakfast will
resume on August 7.
