Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Matthew 28: 19-20

I am very excited to be here serving in this church in the role I believe God has called me to serve. My wife, Rynna, and I have felt nothing but love and support since arriving here. We feel very settled into our new home. The youth of this church are fantastic and we can see nothing but potential inside each one as we look to build into the future.

"So, what now?" you ask, "What will this Kiwi do with our kids?" In seeking God for this group, I believe the first thing He has put on my heart to do is to sow Vision. Vision for the gift's and Call of God inside each individual, Vision that He can use them to win their friends for God, and most importantly, Vision for a relationship with the real God, which will sustain them all the days of their lives. As we sow Vision, I will also be looking to build teams. I believe in the power of teamwork. Together, we can achieve more. So, together, we stand and fight. The first team I will be looking to build is the leadership team, which will work with the kids. At the same time, I will be building teams of teenagers to serve in the areas of their interests. So, if whether your gift is computers, music, sound, art, video or willingness to lead, get ready to be given a chance to grow your gift.

Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you teach, in the way you live,in your love, your faith, and your purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

We meet weekly on Sundays at 11 a.m. and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.

Youth Activities resume this Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will not be served this week. So eat dinner before you arrive. The theme for this year is: God will only play the role of God. So who is He to you?

  • Is God your buddy?
  • Is He the guy who gives hand-outs to you?
  • Is He your "bless me" friend?
  • Or is God the "Do what I want and He'll forgive me God?"
  • Or is He your Lord and Savior, to whom you have given your life?
Be sure to stop by on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. or on Wednesday to participate in the study.

Youth Sunday is September 5. We will be handling the sermon and the worship. We'll also be giving testimonies about how the Lord is working in our lives, in large part thanks to our experiences at camp.

Barbecue, Paintball and Swimming Party on Sunday, September 12 at Thousand Pines, from 1-5 p.m. Please bring $5 for the BBQ and $10 for paintball.

Connect Groups
Our goal is for each group to have no more than eight members. In structuring the groups this way, it may be necessary for some teens to move outside of their age group.
