Roy Rosedale went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 25th. He will be greatly missed by all. Following is his last missions update for our church bulletin.
Reaching the World for Jesus
We thank God for His working around the world. Of the 7,000 languages
in our world, over 3,000 have had the Bible translated for evangelism and discipleship. Over 2,200 additional languages have Bible translation projects started and all of the remaining languages will likely have a translation project begun within the next several years. For the first time in history, portions of the Bible will be available in every language on earth! In the last seven years, more than two million churches have been planted by those partnering with Cru. The Jesus film is now available in 1,500 languages. A professional survey was done to measure the results of the film and, during just one year (2015), the study showed that the film was used by God to generate 186 million exposures to the gospel, 37 million people indicated decisions and 370,000 groups were planted.
